can someone please highlight the fact that reagan, who went through a much weaker economic slowdown by ALL accounts (even republicans admit this) and who congressional democrats worked with to push through policies instead of blatantly trying to obstruct everything that the administration proposed, was re-elected with marginally better unemployment numbers in november 1984 than obama in november 2012? anyone? please. we need some perspective.
