Several of these have the same premise or setup, but not the same plot. “Babe” and “Gordy” are both about talking pigs, but in “Babe” the pig becomes a sheep herder and in “Gordy” the pig joins a family of famous country singers and becomes a Nashville sensation. “Chasing Liberty” and “First Daughter,” on the other hand, those are EXACTLY the same.
It’s a sketch, not a skit. SNL presents sketches, always. Half-assed sorority girl presentations are skits. In the comedy community, “skit” is considered derogatory. Please stop calling these skits. Please.
