Terrifying Video Shows The Moment A Storm Chaser Was Struck By Lightning

Scott Sheppard was shooting video out a car window Tuesday near Fairburn, South Dakota, when he was suddenly hit by lightning. Fortunately, he’s OK.

“The strike hit his arm and then traveled down to the ground and blew a hole in the pavement,” Severe Studios said. “The lightning also disabled his vehicle and a passing car, both of which had to be towed. Scott has a sore arm but is otherwise OK.”
