1. White Tiger (Hector Ayala)
Superpowers: Enhanced strength, reflexes, and martial arts abilities.
Why you should know him: Hector was the "first Puerto Rican superhero in comics and Marvel’s first Latino superhero." He paved the way for Latinos in comics and fought alongside Spider-Man, Iron Fist, and Daredevil.
2. Araña (Anya Corazón)
Superpowers: Spider physiology, superhuman speed, stamina, agility, and reflexes, wall-crawling, and webbing ability.
Why you should know her: She is everything Spider-Man wishes he was. Not only does she kick ass with the same super-abilities that Spider-Man has, she can also speak two languages!

4. The Question (Renee Montoya)
Superabilities: Martial arts and firearm proficiency. The Pseudoderm Mask is what makes her appear faceless and helps her retain anonymity.
Why you should know her: She's a crime-fighting badass who serves as a uniformed cop, detective, and successor to "The Question" superhero name. She's also one of the first queer females of color to emerge from the DC Comics universe.
5. El Gato Negro (Agustin Guerrero)
Superabilities: Intelligence, expert detective, and fighting pro.
Why you should know him: He's basically known as the Latino Batman, but instead of coming from privilege and wealth, he works as a social worker by day. He's so great that the very first issue sold out on its first printing.
6. Victor Mancha
Superpowers: Mancha is a powerful half-cyborg. He is also highly intelligent and has electromagnetic energy control.
Why you should know him: He's basically the Frankenstein of the superhero world. This half-human, half-cyborg makes you realize that the world needs more robots of color to save the day.
7. Firebird (Bonita Juarez)
Superpowers: Energy manipulation, firebird manifestation, immortality, and flight.
Why you should know her: Bonita even has a college degree to her name! Social work is her game and fire is her name. When she's not busy saving the day, she's counseling Thor, because even a god needs some emotional support.
8. Wildcat II (Yolanda Montez)
Superpowers: Retractable cat claws, night vision and superhuman speed, agility, and strength.
Why you should know her: She was a real boss-ass bitch and didn't care if anyone knew it. While Catwoman had artificial claws and feline tendencies, Wildcat was the REAL deal. Catwoman wishes she were this catty.
9. Acrata (Andrea Rojas)
Superpowers: Teleportation when in a shadow and fighting ability.
Why you should know her: Her character is so iconic that she was translated to a live-action version in Smallville, though she became more of a Batwoman in the show. So versatile.
10. Reptil (Humberto Lopez)
Superpowers: Prehistoric animal metamorphosis, size alteration, and accelerated healing.
Why you should know him: Why shouldn't you know a guy who can literally empathize with DINOSAURS?! He's still working on controlling those powers, but he just goes to show that even superheroes aren't perfect like the rest of us.
11. Miss America (America Chavez)
Superpowers: Flight, superhuman strength and speed, and interdimensional travel.
Why you should know her: Aside from fighting crime alongside Loki, Hulkling, and Wiccan, she just happens to be the first Latina to carry the Miss America name after being previously held by two white women. She is also openly gay.
12. Blue Beetle (Jamie Reyes)
Superpowers: Symbiotic telepathic communication, superhuman strength and agility, energy blasts, scarab sigh, and tracking.
Why you should know him: Jaime's story is different in that it involves an aspect noticeably absent in many comic books, a story about family. Creator John Rogers told NewsOK that he wanted to “make it a story about a family working this stuff out.”
13. Sunspot (Roberto da Costa)
Superpowers: Solar radiation absorption, flight, thermokinesis, combat, enhanced strength.
Why you should know about him: This Brazilian is a multitalented mutant. If you thought a bilingual superhero was impressive, this man speaks three languages: English, Portuguese, and Latin. Not to mention he's a downright cutie, right?
14. Aquagirl (Lorena Marquez)
Superpowers: Ability to breather underwater and withstand ocean pressure.
Why you should know about her: She's got the powers of a mermaid with the bipedal qualities of a human. She is everything Ariel should have been. Even Aquaman needs a kick-ass Latina by his side.
15. Rictor (Julio Esteban "Ric" Richter)
Superpowers: Seismic energy manipulation, expert fighter, and all-out computer nerd.
Why you should know him: He is a force of nature that'll shake you up, literally. Rictor adds to Marvel's roster of queer superheroes of color (he is openly dating Shatterstar), and he is one of very few mutants who are Latino.
16. Cybersix (Adrian Seidelman)
Superpowers: Superhuman strength, agility, reflexes, acrobatics, and night vision.
Why you should know her: This Argentine superhero is the first gender-bending superhero, who is disguised as a male English teacher named Adrian when she is not her Cybersix persona.
