Who cares about other Supreme Court rulings? Oh, the liberals. All the liberals like Katie Couric. And anyone who cares about issues such as personal rights (Miranda Rights - Miranda v. Arizona), racial segregation in public schools (Brown v. the Board of Education), that every person should have the right to an attorney (Gideon v. Wainwright), campaign finance regulation (Buckley v. Valeo), that everybody has a right to privacy (Griswold v. Connecticut), to equal protection, that cares about the way Presidential elections turn out (Bush v. Gore), freedom of the press, freedom of religion, personal rights to a fair trial/prosecution/defense, etc. So, everyone should. The government is split three ways, and only functions if all the branches cooperate with one another. So in one way, we should all care. At least anyone who reads, paid attention in social studies, and takes a few minutes to think for themselves every day. But hey, if you only care about Roe v. Wade, you have that right. And that right - to have your own opinion and act upon it - is secured by the constitution. And the Supreme Court's job is to interpret the consitiution, and in doing so, protect your rights. So we're back to square one. You care. Or at least you should.
