Maickel Melamed is a young man from Caracas, Venezuela. When Maickel was born he was given a sentance of 7 days to live. He is now 36 years old and last night he showed the whole world what one can do with persistance and will by completing the NY Marathon. This is the link to all the videos of his incredible feat. All Venezuelans are so proud and inspired by what we witnessed last night.I have had the privilage of personally learning from Maickel at a young age and his teachings have stayed with me through life.
