Sorry, Orca: I usually like your posts, but you are wrong on this one. Marxists come in many flavors, and they don't all advocate for atheism (though you would be correct that Marx himself opposed organized religion). The liberation theologians of Latin America, often Catholic priests who are fed up with poverty, take the line that Jesus was a communist before there were communists. None of this has anything to do with Obama, of course (also your point, I think), but communists are not definitively atheists.
