Foozlesprite a year agoThere’s a great clip of ducks in free fall from Planet Earth, if you’re interested in more you should google it. I’ve spent a lot of time around ducks and I’ve only seen a few things kill them: wild animals (bobcats, etc.), dogs (we raised our cats with our ducks so no problems there), and humans (if you guys ever see me in prison it’s because I murdered someone who was torturing a duck, you can count on it). The little buggers are actually pretty resilient.

gabriellel6 a year agoDucks often lay their eggs in high places as to avoid predators (snakes, rodents), then its just a matter of coaxing the little guys out to find somewhere to swim.
