The 4 Most Absurd "Breaking Bad" Finale Predictions

Predicting what's going to happen in Sunday's "Breaking Bad" finale can be fun. It can also lead to some insane theories. These are real theories gathered from the always wonderful Comments section of various websites.

Walt and Gretchen's Love Child: Jesse Pinkman.

What it predicts: Walt knocked up Gretchen before he decided to ditch her. It also suggests Walt bolted because they disagreed on what to do about the child growing inside of Gretchen. The child that would grow up to become...Jesse Pinkman.

Why it's insane: In this scenario, Walt is basically Darth Vader and Jesse is Luke Skywalker.

Why it'd actually be awesome: Jesse burns Walt's body while fireworks burst in the Albuquerque sky celebrating the death of the Empire (of Heisenberg).

"Breaking Bad: My Time as a Meth Cook" by Walter White

What is predicts: The finale takes us down a path of death and despair the likes of which we've never seen on this show. Before everything really goes to hell, Walt wakes up in bed with Skyler. We're back in season 1. Most of the series was all a dream, although Walt has been cooking for a bit. He goes to Jesse and tells him that he won't cook anymore. He then goes to Hank and asks to become a DEA consultant after which he pens the memoir "Breaking Bad."

Why it's insane: There's just no way that Hank would let Walt join the DEA.

Why it'd actually be awesome: I'd read that book.

Walter White: Drug Dealer. Murderer...Nuclear Terrorist?

What it predicts: Walt will build a homemade nuclear device to destroy himself and his enemies in ABQ.

Why it's insane: Look, I'm sure that by 2055, plutonium will be available in every corner drugstore, but in 2010, it's a little hard to come by. Walt would certainly need some of this to build a nuclear device.

Why it'd actually be awesome: It would segue nicely into a spinoff about the political, social, and economic fallout of a nuclear device being detonated on US soil.

Walt Crashes Elliot's Birthday Party

What it predicts: Walt and Elliott share a birthday (they don't). So Walt goes to crash Elliott's party by spiking the punch or food with ricin. This theory intimates that this will be a callback to Gus Fring's poisoning of the cartel in "Salud." Except everyone will just die 3 days later instead of collapsing all over the place.

Why it's insane: There's no way Walt's getting an invite to Elliot-Fest 2010. No matter how much ramen or autographed guitars he brings.

Why it'd actually be awesome: Walt could take over Gray Matter and go on Charlie Rose.
