Mexican wrestler Perro Aguayo Jr. died early Saturday after suffering a "cervical spine trauma" during a match in Tijuana, Mexico, according to the website Wrestling Observer.
On Friday night, Aguayo Jr. was teaming with TNA superstar Manik (TJ Perkins) in a match against Extreme Tiger and former WWE superstar Rey Mysterio at a wrestling event for AAA.
The incident occurred when Rey Mysterio delivered a low drop kick to Aguayo Jr., causing him to hit the ropes improperly.
