This Beautiful Mumbai Taxi Is A Celebration Of Peace Between India And Pakistan

"India and Pakistan. Separated at birth, Siblings who grew up and forgot how much they love each other."

Taxi Fabric is an initiative via which young artists can exhibit their designs inside Mumbai’s cabs.

It was so well received that they surpassed their Kickstarter goal of £8000.

With their funding in place, Taxi Fabric is producing many more of these gorgeous cabs.

On Pakistan's Independence Day, Taxi Fabric launched its ninth taxi with the Karachi-based artist, Samya Arif.

“I based my designs on the idea that Indians and Pakistanis are essentially the same people, coming from similar roots and focusing on our commonalities and unique characteristics at the same time,” Arif said.

"India and Pakistan. Separated at birth, Siblings who grew up and forgot how much they love each other," is the beautiful thought behind her design.
