The "Show Your Soft Side" campaign is an animal rights movement out of Baltimore. In May, a bunch of Charm City athletes posed in pictures for it, including Ravens wide receiver Torrey Smith, Orioles player Adam Jones and more. On Wednesday, Smith tweeted this picture with the enthusiastic caption "My dogs!!"
A lot of Smith's Twitter followers took this as a shot at Michael Vick, who at one time bankrolled a dogfighting operation. So a few minutes later, Smith posted this Instagram.
Which is especially nice because Michael Vick a) is having a rough week b) owns a dog now* c) and spent a lot of time in jail for dogfighting. Time to accept him back into society.
