nikkib9 9 months agoSince when did he subtly come out in February (twas old news)… Like “oh hey guys, I’m married and have kids” is not enough? Here, let me try something: I have something to do. I have to come out as straight. Is this going to shock the world? Dear god this is such a silly thing in society. Also taking pictures of [celebrity’s] kids-that’s super awkward…

Davine S. 9 months agoRight. They’re not exactly “stepping out on the town, to an event, dressed up to the nines” - pictures at events are part of the job description. They’re “stepping out” as in “I had to leave the hotel room today, because my kids were getting claustrophobic from our efforts to avoid having an invasive family picture taken”. Matt Bomer is an adult and it’s his choice to have a job that’s associated with fame, but his kids don’t get to choose. He’s been doing a great job of protecting his family (whilst also being true to himself - and is therefore a good role-model for the LGBT community). And he gets repaid with this kind of surveillance? It’s not fair on the kids.
