Good technical skill, but he seems to lack any sort of concept or thought in his work. Shame.

How exactly do you know she's a cat burglar? Like Gaby said, she looks more like an artist than anything else. Dali perhaps.
What a ridiculous publicity stunt this all has been.
What is with Buzzfeeders posting horrible text over photos? Why is it so difficult to just post the text below?
No, it really doesn't work better if you're not white. She and Brad have two Asian kids, one black child, and three white ones.
Fun!
I don't see it…
This is what people think of as good photography? Jesus, I might as well go burn by degrees and start studying to become a CPA.
Not surprising. This guy is the definition of fail.
Vehemently disagree of so many levels. Going back to my original point, remaking classic pieces for the sake of remaking them is pointless. Saying art is only expression is saying that every paint-by-numbers, or bored doodles in your notebook, or photo of your cat is art. It's not. Art is concept laid out in an aesthetically pleasing manner. These pictures lack concept and execution. And the only thing the seem to be expressing is “I need to pick up an Art History textbook”. Being passionate about the field I've studied since I was a teen, and the one I make my living off of isn't presumptuous. But people who pretend to know art when it's obvious they've never bothered studying anything about it certainly are presumptuous. As for the Automat/McDonalds one. I already typed out a long comment in response, so I won't repost here. But to summarize, the photographer was certainly not intelligent. That photo is sloppy on many technical levels, and while one aspect of the Hopper photo is addressed, all the rest are completely ignored. Intelligent would be transforming Hopper's narrative into a modern day one, not just picking a location and taking a photograph because it's convenient. And, thanks, but I'll go back to studying Photography and Art History which I am currently majoring in. Why don't you go back to studying accounting since art seems to be something you have no interest in learning about.
