The montage kicks things off with this iconic look from the Revolutionary War.
With these looks from World Wars I and II, the Army ditched the dark blue and hues of green and brown started to become more prominent.
The Gulf Wars of the 1990s brought this look suitable for the desert.
A similar look and theme was kept for the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars.
And just recently, the Army has started to transition into this new look:
