A young Chilean man's attempt at robbing a bus passenger of her handbag has gone horribly wrong.

The man entered the bus and immediately tried to grab a passenger's handbag but failed.
Once more, he tried to get the handbag but the bus driver closed the door, locking him in.
The driver then proceeded to drive to the police station and threatened the man with a bat if he tried to escape.
The bus arrived at the police station where the man was greeted by an officer and arrested.
