A year ago, Utah’s governor instituted a 4-day, 10-hour-a-day workweek for some 17,000 state employees—and the results so far show big benefits.

I live in Utah,the only bad thing about having a 4 day work week is the DLD and the DMV are painfully slow. And for your 3 day weekend you have drink 4.7% beer.

Periodically I ask about this at different companies I've been at. The #1 reason it doesn't happen: kids. Ten hour days don't work for parents. I'd work three 14 hour days if I could.
