    Many Buzzfeed readers, myself included, have been less than entirely satisfied by Buzzfeed's recent intractable problems with freshness. Not in the Summer's Eve sense, but the recurring problem of stale news, recycled posts, and geriatric memes. Buzzfeed has tried to “solve” the problem by retroactively slapping a “classic” tag on old content. This has proved to be a public relations disaster so far. However, I believe my prototype tags (pictured here) will satisfy the demands of the Buzzfeed readership for transparency and accuracy in the labeling process, helping us direct our attention to the freshest content first. What say you, fellow readers?
