The vocal melody is good! Lyrics aren’t bad, standard verse from Jay Z! Timberlake’s intonation is always on point. Musically it’s a bit weak! The intro is just tapping into the current trend of ‘Trap’ music in a bid to stay relevant. The snare is too sharp & sounds abrasive. The synthesised trumpets are a bit flat. Should have gone with real trumpets! picks up a bit towards the end with the latin percussion. It’s good but not great! You’d expect more after all this time!
