    He’s on the list, but Bob Dylan (not technically a band) has made a huge impact on pop culture, music, people, etc. Maybe even a bigger one indirectly since so many of his songs are covered, and sometimes to a point where people don’t even know it’s his song. Sheryl Crow’s “Mississippi” - written by Bob Dylan. Manfred Mann’s “Quinn the Eskimo” - written by Bob Dylan. “All Along the Watchtower,” etc. His “Forever Young” inspired Rod Stewart’s. He supposedly composed the chorus to “Wagon Wheel.” I think Dylan’s influence has a wider range throughout genres.
