Why We Must Defeat “Personhood” Activists In Colorado

Colorado voters are going to see a repackaged version of “personhood” on their 2014 ballot. It’s a different tune, but the same song.

Never heard of “personhood?” Abortion opponents have been introducing “personhood” measures in Colorado and across the county in order to ban abortion, but it could even ban some types of birth control and in vitro fertilization.

Voters in Colorado already rejected extreme “personhood” ballot measures not once, but twice.

    In 2008, voters said:

And again 2010, Coloradoans voted against “personhood” by a margin of 3-1.

Anti-choice activists tried to get it on the ballot in 2012 but couldn’t even collect enough signatures and were all like

Coloradoans clearly aren’t in favor of this policy, so anti-choice groups decided to rebrand “personhood” and introduce a similar measure in 2014 – this time they got it on the ballot.

Make no mistake, abortion opponents like Personhood USA are pushing “personhood” measures to ultimately ban abortion, even in cases of rape or incest.

“Personhood” measures could outlaw some of the most common forms of birth control – including the pill.

Not to mention, it could criminalize stem-cell research and in-vitro fertilization.

    But abortion opponents are like

Time for Coloradoans to vote “no” on this repackaged “personhood” AGAIN.
