5 Reasons Terry McAuliffe Is Winning With Women In Virginia

The gubernatorial race between pro-choice Terry McAuliffe and his opponent Ken Cuccinelli would be neck and neck – except for women voters. Right now, Terry McAuliffe has a 24-point lead with female voters. Why is Terry McAuliffe winning with women?

This is Terry McAuliffe:

1) He supports a woman’s fundamental right to choose.

2) McAuliffe also supports the no-cost birth-control benefit under Obamacare that will ensure access to birth control for thousands of Virginia women who may otherwise not be able to afford it.

3) And he pledged his support for the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA).

4) Terry believes that survivors of sexual assault have the right to access emergency contraception.

5) And he wants to make sure Virginia’s reproductive-health care clinics stay open to serve women and families.
