that last one. what the fuck.
that last one. what the fuck.
big up for the pilot!
it’s not that easy thooooough! this is coming from someone who has a degree and STILL jobless. what makes you think it’s easy to get a different job when every one will turn you away because you don’t have the qualifications you can’t afford??!!
think about it this way guys, if you have a BA and work in a company, chances are in the next 3-5 years you’ll get promoted and more likely to get better pay. when you work in mcdonald’s, you can stay being a frycook in the next 3-5 years, earning the same wage, meanwhile prices can fluctuate. increasing minimum wage is not always a viable solution. i agree that it may not be economically feasible at this time to increase min wage. however, comparing wages of those working in retail/fast food to you who works in offices of an MNC isn’t an apple-to-apple comparisson. because in the long run, you have a chance to be better off than they do, while most of them can’t. just yknow, something to think about.
everything on this list is the truth and nothing but the truth.
lolnope the us currency isn’t so crap atm. and omg noooo it’s still not cheaper, but way better worth the money we pay for.
As much as I oppose of any war, these stuff always gets me. Being away from the family for most of my life for the past 3 years, every time I see my parents at the airport, it’s always the happiest day. I bet it must’ve been for these soldiers too :)
Western “budget airlines” should learn from their Asian counterparts (Tigerair, AirAsia, Jetstar, Citilink). Just because you’re cheap doesn’t mean you have to forgo good, reliable service.
yes, the rest of the world need to know how devastating the typhoon was. those photos are cries for help.
1) Pay off the debts I owe my parents for my education.
2) Buy RTW tickets
3) Buy essentials for said RTW adventure (visa, accomodation, rail passes)
Going to the Harry Potter studios was the perfect send-off for me after living in the UK for 3 years :’)
The Torajan Tombs in Indonesia could be another one. It’s where the Torajans keep the dead. The funeral procession however, is one of the most unique cultural experiences one could ever have.
that’s because she understood the pressure of being in the industry. people may exploit you, and it’s pretty cool that she’s expressing concern to a fellow artist.
lol was asked when my uni competed. one of the contestant was a journalism student. for shame.
don’t be afraid to get off the beaten track. sometimes, some of the best yet affordable place to eat are not listed on the top 10 at tripadvisor, so keep on scrolling!
perks of being indonesian: having tempeh all day errday :)
well-played with the thumbnail and title, buzzfeed.
hah. i knew most of these would be media-related or social work jobs. but i guess people who choose this career path do it because it’s fulfilling to have a job that involves contributing to other people :)

I am destined to do great things.
so true with #5! achieving a good balance between classes/partying/organisational activities is crucial in university! students should embrace the fact that learning happens outside of the lecture halls and that not all of your free time should be used to get drunk or high. believe me, you will be more valued as an employee if they know you have activities outside of classes. and the skills you’ll gain will be applicable no matter which industry you work in.
fuckin hell this man is so perfect i want his hair. and i’m a girl. but i want that hurr.
#16! THE RED WEDDING IS THE DICKEST MOVE OF ALL DICK MOVES.
awww man, i miss swimming!
lol my life is basically #14 and #15 :(
omg yes #5! whenever i told people i’m going to the gym they’re all like “lolwut you don’t need the gym” and they assume i want to lose weight. um no i just wanna be fit and be able to run a mile without gasping for air -_- also we have fashion problems too! it is close to impossible to find jeans in the smallest size because everything else is too big for your tiny waist.
Vow to never drink again…? HAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHHAHAHHAHA you’re funny, Buzzfeed.
regardless of who steals what, Sara > Katy any day
where’d you get that bogus data? link i posted above proves women are more prevalent to domestic abuse and the numbers are rising.
#15 VERY TRUE.
in the uk, most students have to leave their university’s halls and live off-campus starting 2nd year, so i can totes relates to all these haha. the start of the year’s always the best coz that’s when EVERYONE throws house-warming parties. those were the good days, indeed.
#32 must be from the no-pants subway ride…
It’s just hard to take in knowing that Unilever makes beautiful ads like these for Dove. I wonder why when marketing products for women, they don’t take the same approach as they do with Axe/Lynx. Hmmm…
had to settle back to internships. not quite happy about it but it’s something :(
i still remember the feeling of closing the deathly hallows, read the last line: “all was well” numerous of times just because i wasn’t ready to leave it yet. but then i thought, there’s the film to look forward to. and then i watched deathly hallows part 2 and i lingered until the very end of the end credits just because i can’t stand the fact that i don’t quite have anything this exciting to look forward to. after all these years, there are films and books i look forward to, but never with the amount of anticipation of waiting for the next harry potter book/film. because with harry potter, it wasn’t just a book/film. i was waiting to be whisked off to hogwarts and never come back…
I lived in a 6-bed house in uni. 2 of my housemates are my best friends, the other 3 are randoms. The 3 of us (my friends and I) might as well own the place. We bought the things we need (bath mats, bins, dish rack), it’s ALWAYS us who take the rubbish out and clean the bathroom. We always remind them to take the rubbish out and they NEVER do it. They don’t even have a clue when the rubbish are collected and/or WHAT GOES IN WHICH BIN. They’re just plain ignorant. We always find hair in the bathroom, and we’re always the ones cleaning up after, despite constant reminders. One time, we even found shit stains on the toilet. It was gross. I have awesome memories living with my mates, but we’re definitely not missing living with ignorant people.
this is convincing enough to unfriend an ex off fb. (if it still doesn’t then i think you’re a lost cause).
On your graduation night, go out and get drunk, then come back to a friends’ house (or yours) and stay up talking and faffing about and drink some more until the sun rises.
with regards to #1… the first thing i look for when i travel is a great place to eat… not sure if i’m older than i’m supposed to be, or just loves to eat…
I swear sometimes I think I’m Jess.
