This Saturday, December 14, the Laguna Beach gallery, Artists Republic 4 Tomorrow (AR4T), will debut their latest exhibition entitled, ”Straight Outta Whoville: The Night Before Grinchmas.” The exhibition will showcase original art based on the characters from the iconic Dr. Seuss classic “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.”
The Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Beach was recently recognized for its continued efforts to help kids develop healthy lifestyles. The Edwards Lifesciences Fund awarded the Boys & Girls Club $2,500 to assist in their “Be Healthy” program at Laguna Beach’s Main Branch of the Boys & Girls Club.
Beginning this weekend (December 14) more than 170 talented artisans will craft, display, and sell their original artwork on the Sawdust Festival grounds, 935 Laguna Canyon Road. The area has been transformed into a Holiday Wonderland with the addition of thousands of winter decorations, and a newly constructed “Towne Square” at the heart of the festival.

Big Thunder Mountain in Frontierland at Disneyland has been closed for a major overhaul for the majority of 2013, and all we’ve gotten was a brief glimpse at the signs of Rainbow Ridge, and a short video of the renovations. Today the Official Disney Blog gave us a glimpse at the first new train testing the brand-new track that was just installed at the attraction.
Disney’s next animated feature is the enchanted looking Frozen. The film features Kristen Bell as the voice of a young dreamer named Anna who teams up with Kristoff (Jonathan Groff), an extreme mountain man, to find her sister Elsa, the Queen of Arrendelle (Idina Menzel) who has accidentally trapped their kingdom in eternal winter. Anna and Kristoff are joined on their journey by Kristoff’s trusty reindeer Sven, and a talking snowman/comic-relief, Olaf (Josh Gad).
