For many parents, this is a culmination of every thing their child/significant other/parent/brother/sister/partner worked hours upon hours and years of devotion towards. It’s a shame that an athlete competing at arguably the most important event of their lives can’t have their loved ones there for the experience. Instead, we see front rows filled up by affluent fans.
