Real-Life Benchwarmer’s Celebrations Are Motion-Captured For Video Game

Next up, the waterboy.

Kent Bazemore is a backup, backup shooting guard for the Golden State Warriors who happens to have a very particular set of skills: He’s amazing at bench celebrations.

In fact, his moves are so impressive that they will now be immortalized in the upcoming “NBA 2K14” video game. No, seriously. Here he is getting motion-captured.

You probably won’t be able to PLAY the game as Kent Bazemore while sitting on the bench, but it’s nice to know that the developers are making the game as realistic as possible. Now if only we could get a button for a LeBron flop. THAT would be realistic.
