Possessed Puck Leads To Bizarre NHL Goal

The power of ice compels you!

During Wednesday night’s Vancouver-San Jose game, Sharks center Joe Thornton fired the puck around the glass and it somehow ended up in the back of the net for a goal.

As you can see, the puck bounced off the back glass, rolled up and over the net, and then hit Luongo before falling into the goal.

And there was really nothing Luongo could do to prevent it.

It was merely a crazy combination of dumb luck and wicked spin.

Fortunately, the goal didn’t make the difference in the game, as the Canucks would go on to win 4-2. Still though, I don’t trust that puck.
