NHL Player Evades Two Defenders Like A Hockey Magician For Brilliant Goal

“I don’t know how he did it, but he did it!”

During the 2nd period of Saturday’s Detroit-Dallas game, Red Wings left winger Tomas Tatar made a dazzling play to somehow get by two converging defenders for an unassisted goal.

With defenders approaching from both sides, Tatar pushed the puck ahead while avoiding a head-on check from Stars defenseman Brenden Dillon, who ended up taking out his teammate, freeing Tatar up for a semi-breakaway.

From there, Tatar just had to maintain his balance, regain control of the puck, avoid an oncoming defender, and lift the puck up for a backhand goal.

You know, standard hockey stuff.
