I've been to an event like this in Japan. A bay was fenced off and loads of fish brought in. Everyone was given nets and when a bell sounded we all waded in to catch as much as we could.Then we grilled it all on the beach, and met a sushi chef who cut it all up and prepared it for us. Obviously it wasn't quite as mental as this.
