The mosaic filter divides the photo into twenty-five equal sections and finds the average colour in each section and displays it as a large pixel. Since the average colour of the area is shown, the colours are somewhat blended nicely, creating a nice colour swatch where the colours complement each other (more or less) perfectly.”
