Disney's Tarzan is the classic feral boy meets defiant girl story.
Things get intense real quick.
But there's something missing, and it's very strange.
And it's something that's never explained.
UM, WHERE IS TARZAN'S BEARD!?
Tarzan doesn't live in a freaky, beardless parallel world.
Other characters have facial hair.
Tarzan finds Clayton’s pencil-thin moustache peculiar.
Tarzan’s dad has an envious sideburns-to-moustache join-up going on.
So it’s definitely not some hereditary thing.
Not one scrap of hair graces Tarzan's angular jawline.
He's been in the wilderness for some time.
Maybe Tarzan buffs his beard off on a rock.
Maybe he plucks each strand out to maintain a youthful aura.
There is quite probably an Animated Beard Specialist working at Disney.
This does make you wonder what the situation is under that loincloth.
