    Okay. I hate to be “that guy,” especially under the circumstances, and I really don’t want to undermine Whitney right now, but she’s not the best-selling female artist of all time. Madonna is. She’s sold more than 300 million records, which is almost twice of Whitney’s 170. She’s not even 2nd; Mariah Carey and Celine Dion are both ahead of her with 200 million records sold.  Sorry, I’m still as sad as the rest of you, but I had to point this out. 170 million records sold is certainly an enormous accomplishment, though.
