MMR 8 months agoThat last bit: “in our culture, motherhood is far more examined — and judged — than fatherhood.” …so damned true. But it isn’t just for motherhood. Judgment is very harsh for women. Criticism for our looks is FIERCE! The “2/10 Would not bang” meme derives its humor because so many men are like that; overly critical, expecting perfection that just doesn’t exist in the real world. We’re expected to be ladylike, but expectations are rather different for men. And as for slut shaming, well, don’t get me started!
