When one does not give consent, they do not get raped. Yup. I’m pretty sure the world works like that. People don’t give consent and then the would-be rapist just changes his mind and decides to go home. People who don’t want to get mugged say “Hey, that’s my wallet, and I don’t consent to give it to you” so the would-be mugger says “OK, my bad” and walks away. Got it. You’ve just solved the problems of the world, sweetheart. When someone doesn’t want something bad to happen, they just tell the other person who would harm them they don’t give consent then everything will be OK. Like, wow.
