Guy Fieri Officiated A Super-Sized Same-Sex Wedding While Rocking A Purple Tuxedo

    "Fieri, I'm at the altar/ I'm a magician."

Guy Fieri, host of Food Network's Diners, Dive-Ins & Dives officiated a free wedding ceremony for 101 same-sex couples at the South Beach Wine & Food Festival this weekend in Miami.

This massive event was organized by celebrity chef, Art Smith, whose former clients have included the tummies of Oprah Winfrey and Jeb Bush.

The Southern chef began organizing this wedding in January through social media, offering the first 101 couples to respond on Twitter using the hashtag #101GayWeddings a free wedding.

Smith chose the number 101 as a reference to the Disney film, 101 Dalmatians, throwing shade to the villain of Florida's marriage equality movement, Attorney General Pam Bondi.

In an interview with The Miami Herald, the chef celebrated the event's success while stressing its social importance.

Smith married his partner, painter Jesus Salgueiro, at the Lincoln Memorial in 2011.

Ace of Cakes' Duff Goldman pulled through on the baked goods, providing this seven-tier wedding cake for guests to enjoy:

Guy Fieri expressed his gratitude on Twitter for the opportunity to be involved in the extraordinary event.

Newlyweds and wedding attendees shared these adorable snaps from the reception on Twitter:

Thank you, Guy Fieri and Art Smith, for reminding us that all love is important and should be recognized as such, whether it's between a man and a man,

    A woman and a woman,

Or a man and his slice of pizza.
