tiffanym9 a year agoThis is funny & pretty true. The only thing is not all women do these things or think like this. Like #1 I do not pluck my eyebrows & draw them in. I think that’s dumb to do that. With #3 I cut my hair short a few months ago & still love my short haircut. #4 I say a bikini & underwear are the same thing that’s partly why I wear a one piece swimming suit. I have a few friends that do #6 all the time. They complain about having curly hair & complain about how long it takes them to straighten it. I have naturally straight hair & rarely curl it. Also #7 & 8 are what crazy girls think.

B a year agoSteve Hughes, will you please school these people on being offended? The only “problem” with these jokes is the fact that they make generalized statements. Sure it’s a bit crass to lump an entire group of individuals under a single label, but aside from that, there’s nothing wrong. (in before, “but that’s a big thing to get wrong!)
It’s so silly that someone will throw a fit if the joke is, “Seen in bikini: OK. Seen in underwear: End of the world. Woman logic.” but if it’s, “I’m always confused when *insert individual I personally know* is fine wearing a bikini, but if you catch her in her underwear, she freaks out. What’s up with that?”
Same joke but hey, that one’s perfectly acceptable because you’re speaking from personal experience and not generalizing! You could argue, “People should be aware of that before they speak out on these things and that someone might find their generalizations offensive!” and to that I say: Pull the stick out of your ass and learn to laugh. Yes, they could be stated more eloquently. Yes, whoever says it should probably be aware that some oversensitive PC douchebag is going to be offended if they’re lumped into something that doesn’t apply to them. But you could also stop being so thin skinned and learn that not everything is meant to personally insult you. For instance: @CK828:
I shower every day, but I know plenty of guys who sniff out a clean shirt from their dirty laundry and load up on body spray. Do I? No. I read your last bit about “Man Logic” though, and I can laugh and say, “Haha. Too true. Jacob totally does that shit.” I’m not offended because I’m an intelligent fucking adult who realizes not all generalizations apply to everyone and that your statement—while true for some—does not necessarily apply to me specifically.

crazy kat a year agoI’m a feminist and I support this message, mainly because I’ve been saying this for years as have other feminists that I know. We think it’s just as dumb as other people, that a girl has to put so much in her looks to feel loved, when really she’s already good enough! Or when girls get paranoid about the little things, when they really shouldn’t. My sister, who is almost 30 by the way, reads way to much into stuff as do other friends that I have. Do I do this? Use to when I was a teenager, but now I try not to so much, I just let things go. If people like me, fine, if not, fine as well. By the way, number five is sort of true. I’m a woman and I don’t say that, mainly because it is an insult to me, I kick ass period!
