Do the people who made this movie honestly expect us to believe there are still icebergs in the north Atlantic? Sounds as plausible as Sharktopus and Mansquito.

lol, the whole thing has been copied from various movies and real life events.. even the lines.
warnerbros. and jk rowling can sue this damn movie for the line about history repeating itself.

Oh how I love the Asylum. First we get the likes of Mega Shark VS Giant Octopus starring Debbie Gibson, then Mega Piranha starring Tiffany and then Mega Python VS Gatoroid which stars both Debbie Gibson and Tiffany… where they fight each other. And now Titanic II. I love the Asylum.

The one great movie that didn't warrant a sequel. It doesn't even make historical sense.

No need to get your panties in a knot people: 1. Except for the (really bad) 1994-era digital animation shot, every shot of the Titanic in this trailer has been lifted from previous films. And *if* they have the rights to actually use those shots in the final film, it only drives point #2 home:
2) This is being done by The Asylum—the same people responsible for Snakes on a Plane, War of the Worlds II, etc. Suggest ways to make it even cheesier, and given half a chance they'll probably try to add it to the film. The Asylum seems to operate with the belief that really, really bad is best not when it winks and nudges you so you know it's in on the joke too, but when it's spewing lines like “Looks like history's repeating itself.” Not my cup of tea, but it'll be straight to video anyway. Any publicity it gets will only be because people take it seriously and get outraged enough to ask 50 of their closest friends whether or not they've heard about that sequel to Titanic they're making…

I hate trailers that dissolve to black, then back to picture, then to black, then back to picture, so I only watched the first 10 seconds or so. But besides… Titanic 2? There should be a “SRSLY???” tag for this.

What's Senator Kelly doing there?

I take it this is one of those made for Sy-fy channel movies……sigh.

I guess Leo and Winslet passed on this project.
