I wish people could open their eyes and realize how they’re reacting. Everyone complaining about changes sound like a bunch of fucking senior citizens who are still scared of minorities and the internet. Society is so fucking afraid of change. It’s retarded. Even if it’s something that doesn’t even effect them (the new Gap logo) or a redesign that improves the entire site (Gawker Blogs redesign). Get the fuck over it. Things change. The world changes. Not everything can stay the same in your own little comfort zone for eternity. Stop being so fucking afraid that you’ll have to learn or try something new. “It looks different than what I’m used to! Argh! /Insta-Hate!” Really? REALLY? Have you tried it? Have you used it? Have you had any interaction with it besides viewing a single screencap from a video stream? No, you haven’t. So stop fucking bitching.  Thank fuck the rest of the world didn’t have your “Don’t change what doesn’t need to be fixed” attitude. “Cars? Horses work just fine, thank you. E-mails? Fuck that. Is there something wrong with the postal service? eReaders? Pfft, can I not hold a book anymore? God forbid we work towards self improvement. Why fix what isn’t broken, right?” Fuck everything about that backwards, regressive attitude. Who knows, this Facebook redesign may be absolutely fucking terrible. It certainly looks radically different. But until you’ve tried it and learned how it works, shut the fuck up. Odds are good you don’t run a $100+ Billion empire into the ground with a site redesign. So lets wait and see how it works.

“Fixing” what doesn’t need to be fixed. This is why I joined Google+ months ago.

I actually had this idea the other day, for people like me who don’t give a shit about all the spammy posts and insignificant events in our acquaintances’ lives. Really…if you post one more quote about Jesus that you fail to live up to, or one more set of pictures from a party, or keep fishing for attention with pity party poems, I get very close to deleting you.  Maybe now I’ll be able to ignore all that crap and focus on what’s actually important from my high school friends. When they get married or have a kid…when they get a job…when they buy their first house…when they get divorced…when a relative dies…when a tornado hits…etc.

Just like Youtube, facebook still hasn’t learnt that if it isn’t broken, it doesn’t need fixing.

he’s ruining it. It looks just like Myspace. Facebook will soon be dead and the next new big thing will come along to replace it then the owner of that will fuck it up and make it look like facebook. It’s a vicious cycle.

You what’s more annoying than facebook changes? People who bitch on facebook about the changes. Just fucking leave it if you don’t like it.  Been on since 2005, seen about everything change. Like the new look, much cleaner.

Glad to see I’m not the only one who thought ‘MyFace’. It really does give off a Myspace-ish vibe.
