Bruce Wayne a year agoI think that it is a bit of misdirection to make this an issue about individual racism. Does it really matter if Zimmerman is a racist? Is the tragedy of this incident that there are nuts with guns who are racist? No, the tragedy of this incident is that a white man can shoot a black man in clearly questionable circumstances and get a complete pass by the police. Do you think that the police would have done the same (i.e. nothing) if it were a black man who killed a white man, or even a black man killing another black man? That is the outrage. It is an outrage against the system not one man and his actions.

Jim Jones a year agoWe are not judge & jury, you are innocent until proven guilty in the U.S., this has not changed. It’s funny though how much racist vitriol comes from non-whites when the slightest impression of racism presents itself from anybody Caucasian persuasion, but if blacks do it not matter how overtly there’s silence, especially in the media, especially from so called black leaders. “There is a class of colored people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. I completely agree, I had one friend who said something to a black guy because he called him a white ass honky, and he was jumped by 10 black guys the next day. He was in the hospital for 3 months. I didn’t see al sharpton anywhere it didn’t even get on the news. I’m not a racist, but if this was a black guy killing a white guy it wouldn’t have gotten more attention then a 10 second mention on a local news channel calling it “gang violence”.

BTW Martin may of not been a saint, but what 17 year old kid is ? It still doesn’t change the fact that he got shot and killed for no go reason and that is wrong. He was a normal 17 year old kid who got stalked and killed by some nutbag want to be cop when he was just coming home from the store
