While praising Chick-fil-A’s values on the “The Ken Coleman Show,” The President of Chick-fil-A, Dan Kathy, said:
“I think we are inviting God’s judgment on our nation when we shake our fist at Him and say, ‘We know better than you as to what constitutes a marriage. I pray God’s mercy on our generation that has such a prideful, arrogant attitude to think that we have the audacity to define what marriage is about.”

kea718 10 months agoI don’t know why this is a shock to anybody. This is a place that’s closed on Sunday because of their religious views. It kind of disgusts me to see comments insulting this man and insulting Christians for their views and beliefs. This is something people feel strongly about and they truly believe that it’s wrong. The fact is people are raised with certain beliefs and it’s really all they know. How are you supposed to suddenly change your views after believing them your whole life? I don’t agree with them but I understand why they feel the way they do.

ashleya9 10 months agoWhy is this shocking? A lot of Christians feel the same. Plus the fact this place is closed on Sundays that should tell people something about the owners belief. This is a country of free religion. Agree to disagree. I don’t see people beating down those who don’t believe in God.

Very frustrating. How in the world can ANYONE think that gay marriage is okay?? Being gay is not okay. For real people? We need to stand up for what the Bible teaches and quit accepting this ridiculous “movement” that is happening. Noone is born gay. It simply doesn’t happen. It’s a choice. I’m proud of chick-fil-a’s stand and wish more and more companies (and people) would follow their lead!

I’ve never been to Chick-Fil-A and I don’t plan on going. Not because of the homophobia. I’m just a vegetarian. Seriously, does anyone realize the kind of shit that Wal-Mart, Target, Apple, etc. and the companies they do business with do just to bring their products to us as cheaply as possible? Or do you not want to think about it? I hate bigotry as much as the next decent human being, but if I boycotted every company whose views and activities I found morally offensive, I’d be hard-pressed to maintain my relatively modest lifestyle. And that blows. Oh well, at least fast food is easier to go without than, say, gasoline.
