The New Penny
Culture Buzz The penny is getting a makeover. A commemorative coin is being released next year in celebration of Abraham Lincoln’s 200th birthday. The coin will have the same side profile of Lincoln that’s on today’s penny, but the back will have one of four images depicting scenes of his life as seen below. I feel like we should’ve been able to vote on something like this.
