Working for my college radio station, I was fortunate enough to snag myself a press pass for an ICP show last year. Now, I think the music is awful. Hilarious, but awful. But there's something to be said about what it does for its fans. You go to any ICP show, and what you will hear most is the word “family” shouted over and over again. This stuff brings together people who have been outcasts their entire lives, for whatever reason, and gives them something they can call a family, and those who create this music honestly do nurture that. Sure, they may look batshit crazy, but fuck it. They are who they are, and when they're in these settings, they don't give a fuck what anyone else thinks, and that's pretty fucking cool. AlsoItouchedCoolioandthatwasawesome.

Cool, they're having fun, looking weird, poor. But the horrified looking toddler in #7 kind of disturbs me. I guess it's the blood on his face.

so this gets rebuzzed and again I have to say…they're STILL one of the most frightening groups of people there are in the world. Gangs, Juggalos..I don't see a huge difference, they look extremelly violent if you don't happen to be as messed up in the head as they are and agree with all their crazy things. My mother,my grandmother and I were sitting in my moms living room watching Oprah when my grandma casually asks “what's the C word?” My mother looks at her and says with a straight face “cunt”. “Oh” grandma nods knowingly.
