#20 I had this happen. After 2 hrs of the alarm literally going off continually (i.e. less than 1 minute between alarms) right under my window, I had that damn Mercedes towed. I regret nothing!

A lot of these are just aggressive, not passive agressive.

My asshole neighbor is about 2 days away from getting one of these. They like to take the spot on the end (next to a tree, so it’s not like some jackass parked badly next to them and forced their hand) and then place the line of the space firmly in the middle of their tires. The best part of the trick is when I am already parked next to them, since they always come home in the wee hours of the morning, I get to wake up to the surprise of doing the limbo to get into my car and try to get to work on time.  I really don’t understand why either… it’s a fairly nice car but it is MORE likely to get hit that way (I banged my door into it real good once, before I got a new car). Birds like to crap all over cars in that space, but it’s the dead of winter and it’s not like being a foot over is going to stop them.  They’re just a jackass. An inconsiderate jackass.

Some of these are just straight up aggressive. Also, what does being a Republican have to do with bad parking?

I drive a suburban…and I park waaaay in the back because sometimes it’s a huge bitch to park. It doesn’t help that everyone else is parked like a dumbass. I make sure to park right, and if I can’t, again, I park waaaaay in the back.

Plus, the hearts and smiley faces are all the same. And how many people have notebook paper, a sharpie and duct tape with them in the car? I call fake. Sorry.

Is it just me, or were all of these written by the same person? All of the handwriting looks very similar to me, and it looks like the same pen was used for a lot of them. The tone and sense of humor is also the same throughout.

my street is in a neighborhood with a lot of restaurants, a high school, and a place of worship - and it’s not permitted - which in LA is like a nightmare. my bldg doesn’t come with garage spots, either, so sometimes things get ugly. can’t say i haven’t wanted to pen a few notes like this in my time.

just another reason for why you should carry DUCT TAPE at all times. makes leaving a note all the more fun (ofc, you’d have to attach it with at least 7 passes of tape, since… you know, you don’t want the wind to catch it)

# 6 - does it hurt when they park on their privates?

With all due respect to the folks at passiveaggressivenotes.com quite a lot of these are not passive aggressive in any accepted definition of the word. Many are just aggressive. Some are polite and only seem passive aggressive if you read them with that context already in your mind.

I live in an apartment complex and the parking wars are very real. You get 2 spaces per apartment, but for some reason, my neighbors think since my family only has one car, their friends can use our extra spot. This would be fine if they didn’t leave broken beer bottles, trash, and cig butts all over that spot so WE get in trouble and not them. Oh and then when we pull into home and both spots are taken, they’re like “oh well”. Nothing like not being able to use YOUR spot that YOU pay for because some asshole uses it instead.

I have a fond childhood memory of a note left on my parent’s car that said, “IF YOU FUCK LIKE YOU PARK YOU’LL NEVER GET IT IN!”

Yeah, I am this close to writing the crappiest note ever to a fellow neighbor. I am almost about to pop (Pregnant) and I have a reserved spot that I pay for from the land lord. Some jackass in a white chevy decided to claim that spot. They have seen me take it easy on them and not go nuts and carry in loads or groceries and baby supplies while being parked 3 houses down from my own house, basically. Stupid Fat Bitch is too lazy to park in her spot which is 5 spots away from mine, to walk to her house. I dont understand people. I really dont.
