#28 “This is who you really hate” is my favorite. Nate Phelps (estranged son of Fred Phelps) is very open about his childhood in the WBC. Fred Phelps was an abusive father, and has many of the signs of a sociopath. I don't understand Fred Phelps at all. But I feel bad for anyone who grew up underneath him. I really think most of the other members do have some self-hate issues, because that's what they were shown when they were younger. And I feel bad for them, that they think the only way they can go to Heaven is to preach of a God of destruction and hatred.
