  • yowsers that thing is ugly!?! don't know much about dog shows, but I always wondered why why real dogs (not fluff balls who can't do much but yap) don't win. And when lost dogs are dying in shelters every day, WHY ARE WE STILL BREEDING DOGS??? Selfish and cruel

  • You know…I heard this morning on NPR, that this dog gets absolutely nothing for this win. However, there are future breeding opportunities.  What if the “winners” of the Miss USA, Miss America, Miss Whatever, etc., beauty pageants were rewarded in this way? Interesting, no? Quick, call my agent.

  • Last night was Malachy's 115th Best In Show ribbon, and he's retiring as the #2 dog in the nation right now.  Congrats to Malachy, his handler and co-owner David Fitzpatrick (who's a super nice guy), and his breeders, Jim and Jean Smith.
