I don’t see why it is hilarious that Keanu is depressed. He had a still born baby and then his long term girlfriend died. It seems pretty legit.

Btw, for you guys used to being force-fed information you will have to review (google) pics of Keanu’s ‘sad’ pics & basically any full body shot of the guy to understand what I’m talking about. I am actually so pissed off as I really appreciated KR’s difference, now it looks like its sooo staged :( What the hell is wrong with actors these days??? Do they totally loose sight of what’s real, or do they just loose sight of how to ‘really’ convey it?

I was totally buying into the depressed ‘real guy’ image of Keanu…until I thought, why are his shoes so scuffed up (so early 20th century looking!) when he has more than one pair of shoes (so un early 20th century)?? Does he play lost of sport in each pair??? Do the tops of his toes take alot of scuff in his job??? WTF!!! NO!!! the guy is obviously staging the whole thing…YUK!!! I am soooo disappointed, I thought he was ‘more real’ only to realize that he is ‘less real’ - what a w***ker, he sucked me in and had me believing that he was worth something on a soul level..now I realise he is only worth something on a capitalistic level.

I like the fact that he is real and also that he is a private person rather than being yet another attention seeker willing to make a spectacle of themselves to stay in the spotlight. He’s wrong about not being smart. He’s smart and he has class. Can’t beat it! I feel bad for him that he doesn’t seem very happy, but I’ve struggled with depression for most of my life too so I can relate.
