Okay, I just read the corresponding story… apparently when she realized people were thinking she lost her marbles, she did a “lively little dance.” I reeeeeeally hope she hasn’t been hanging out with Asslee Simpson.

Surely this is grossly out of context.

Have some compassion ere, Interpeoples! She’s a lonely, vulnerable, human being.  LEAVE SUSAN ALONE!!!!!!!  (I mean, seriously, the whole Tiger Woods thing has way more schadenfreude per square inch.)

Perhaps this started and was mis-understood(mis-reported) as a parady of the ‘baby blanket’ sarcasm that an impromtu response might bring from a person not conditioned by a fear of the press cameras? She may have cried in regret about the expression intended only as humor. Is the video available? Stills only, and run-amok social mis-interpretation? She does seem at times to be unwilling to ‘pose’ and ‘facialize’ herself. A facetious romp gone bad?
Has anyone sought the truth in this?

This is more important than it appears on the surface: I have students sobbing in class because of the fears they have about not being able to meet the expectations peers/family have of them.

She just had some allergies and a bit of something in her teeth, I imagine. And now all this sensationalism.  It’s like with me, when they published that shot of me dangling naked outside of that lady’s window with her TV. They just made up whatever story they thought fit that picture and it was all over the blogs. It’s a real disservice.

Susan Boyle has borderline learning difficulties. It’s amazing she survives the media stress as well as she does.

When Ms. Boyle was belting out Les Miz bits it was not trivia. But when she suffers from the stress of the media blitz it’s useless trivia? It’s WTF to be sure, but it is as important as her fans decide it is, not us.
