Surprise Baby Lamb Born At The Central Park Zoo During Hurricane Named “Irene Hope”
Lambs generally breed in the fall and give birth in late winter to early spring, so zoo keepers were shocked to see a baby lamb in a stall when they were evacuating the animals before the hurricane hit. So, they named her “Irene Hope.” She’s a miracle!
