Yes, this guy is terribly wrong, without the slightest doubt… with his cursing and smacking…. but hey… he is obviously a bit aware of it since he calling out for help…

What a dick. Definitely worth an investigation. I'm more worried about the emotional abuse but he's probably just over the line with the smacking. He knows what he does is wrong after he does it, admits it, and then just keeps doing it.
