i love all animals but bulldogs are an anatomical mess - pronounced jaw, pushed back skull, wrinkles that are an infection magnet, chest is too wide, small pelvises which means births have to be done through c-sections - so all the costumes and grins can't make up for the screwed up things we've done to these poor creatures.

I used to really want a bulldog but I found out that you have to clean the spit out of their wrinkles and sometimes, you even have to help them poop due to digestive issues. I think I'll just look at cute photos of bulldogs online
